Basic Qualifications:

Sales and Care Representatives will be hired as temporary, full-time employees and may transition to regular, full-time positions depending on attendance, performance and position availability. During the temporary period employees are not eligible for CenturyLink benefits. If a temporary Sales and Care Representative transitions to a regular, full-time position, benefits will be available according to company policy.
Training for these positions will begin onJune 4, 2012.
Job Functions


* Responsible for fielding inbound calls from potential and existing customers for selling CenturyLink products and services on every call

* Performing credit reviews, establishing accounts in the billing system, and providing customer service and solutions to problems
In addition to a base pay of$10.50/hour, Sales &amp; Care Representatives are assigned monthly sales quotas and must maintain customer service quality expectations to attain an additional targeted sales incentive, which isapproximately $9,900 yearlyfor meeting 100% of the goal!

Job Requirements 
Minimum Qualifications:

* Ability to meet and exceed monthly sales quotas

* Terrific oral and written communications skills

* Strong customer focus

* Excellent punctuality and work attendance history

* Proficient in multi-tasking within several computer applications and databases

* Able to handle a high volume of phone calls in a structured environment

* Must be flexible to work various shifts, including Saturdays, evenings, and holidays as necessary

* Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
Preferred Qualifications:

* Prior sales experience in a customer-facing environment

* Experience in an inbound or outbound call center

* Work experience that reflects stability

Training is 13 weeks, M-F, 9am-6pm for the first five weeks and then M-F 10am -7pm for the balance of the training period.
You MUST be able to attend entire 13 weeks of training without time off!
Current hours of operation for the center are 8am to 7pm. Monday-Friday and Saturday 9am to 2pm. Work hours are based on seniority. Mandatory overtime may be required, based on call volumes during normal hours of operation.

Starting wages during training 10.50/hr; Training will be 13 weeks. Classes starting: May 14, 2012 and June 11, 2012. Must be able to attend the entire training without time off. 
Hours of operation are 8 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday through Friday; Saturday 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

Job Description: As a successful Retention Service Associate you will be working in a call center retaining promoting and selling CenturyLink products and services to residential customers. In this exciting and fast paced position you will be responsible for the following:
Perfect the customer experience by providing excellent service on every call!
·Receive inbound calls from CenturyLink residential customers
·Meet required retention objectives by retaining and selling CenturyLink products and services
·Consult with customers to gather information and make recommendations for their communication and entertainment needs

·Build and maintain strong customer rapport
·Consult, multi-task, and problem solve with the customer
·6 months experience in a sales or customer service environment
·High School Diploma or GED or equivalent work experience
·Ability to multi-task in a Microsoft Windows environment
·Strong written and verbal communication skills
·Must successfully complete pre-employment test assessment and interview
Preferred Qualifications:
·Proven success in a commissioned sales environment
·Minimum of 6 months experience in a sales environment
·Call center and sales experience, particularly experience where measurable quotas and goals are achieved!
·Background in internet applications, cellular, and/or satellite technology
