Basic Qualifications:

·  Coordinate with CenturyLink Supervisors, Managers and inspectors to verify approvals on hourly billed tickets and mark &amp; standby’s, Interface with Vendors to receive corrected invoices and to ensure accuracy of invoices.
·  Tracking and reporting of invoices, billing discrepancies and recovery of invoices.
·  Auditing locate vendor invoices   
·  Coordinate with supervisors, managers and inspectors to receive hourly approval  
·  Coordinate with locate vendors on correcting discrepancies on invoices.    
·  Tracking and reporting invoice information.   
·  Ensuring accuracy of invoices received prior to payment. Estimated recovery for invoice discrepancies across all regions is $32K per month.
·  Contract locate vendors, area plant supervisors, area operations managers, contract inspectors and accounts payable.
·  Ability to work with little supervision.
·  Numerous audits are received via group mailbox on a daily basis.
·  Auditing process documents and templates were created and should be followed.
·  If approvals are not received and we have reached our deadline the approval must be sent or discrepancies sent to the vendor.
·  Individual needs to be able to determine if approval is needed for billing charges based on the contract for the vendor in a specified state.

The Security Representative-SEC is cross trained in different functions in Central Station operations. They are trained to schedule and bill service calls for technicians. ·Check and process orders in Ensemble queue daily.  
·Process maintenance orders by entering data in Dice and signing off in Ensemble for completion of the order.  
·Disconnect accounts from monitoring by turning service off in system and calling up system through program to stop signals from coming in,
·Trouble shoot technical issues with customers and technicians 
·Act as a back up for operators if busy or short handed by monitoring alarms and answering phones  


The Security Representative-SEC is responsible for the data entry on all monitored accounts, the final sign off on billing for new orders and programs the security systems in the field. If alarms are not programmed correctly the direct effect could be that someone’s property is damaged or life is lost due to incorrect or negligent alarm responses from the Security Representatives for which the Company may be liable. If the jobs are not signed off on it time there will be a delay in revenue received.

The Security Representative SEC has a team Lead that assigns the daily work load and assists with any technical issues but reports to the Supervisor II

Job Description 
CenturyLink has an exciting opportunity for an Accounting professional with a strong work ethic and a desire to be part of a fast paced, results driven SEC reporting team. The Lead Accountant will asist with the preparation and filing of SEC periodic reports including Form 10-Q and Form 10-K. This position will also prepare SEC disclosure checklists, perform technical accounting research, prepare support packages for external auditors and analyze results, trends and forecasts.

Minimum Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting.

* Experience with large to medium public company and/or Big 4 is preferred.

* Certified Public Accountant (Preferred).

* Borad knowledge of GAAP and SEC rules and regulations.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Strong Word and Excel knowledge used to create, edit and format documents and reports.

* Ability to work with minimal supervision.
